Storing bulk fertilizer isn’t straightforward. Left unchecked, the weight is enough to push out the sides of the large tin sheds normally used to house the agricultural nutrients. To avoid this, strong internal retaining walls are built and different types of fertiliser is separated.
Whether it is lining a pre-existing facility, or building a brand new one; over the past 10 years, Interbloc has worked with both large and small fertiliser suppliers. The Interbloc system simply adapts to your needs - large or small - because of its modular nature and future-proof design.

Central to the Interbloc system is an innovative concrete block. A standard Interbloc measures 1200 x 600 x 600mm and weighs 1 tonne.
Click on the image (below if you’re on mobile, to your right if you're on a desktop) to see some of the features that make the Interbloc concrete block.
Features of the block include:
- Reinforcing ducts
- Certified Lifting
Uniquely, Interbloc offers an unparalleled flexibility to reconfigure walls as needed without compromising structural integrity.
The system look simple enough, but when you dive deeper it delivers a powerful combination of benefits.
It’s fast to install, reducing wasted time and labour.
It’s strong, delivering unparalleled durability and resilience.
Its’ safe, with a fully engineered system and certified lifting
Interbloc casts reinforcing ducts through the centre of the blocks at 600mm centres. This allows vertical steel reinforcing to be installed post placement using the Reidbar system. This enhances the structural integrity of the wall without compromising the speed of construction.
