Envirocon is a recipient of the Waste Minimisation Fund (WMF).

The project aims to develop more efficient collection and treatment systems, resulting in better environmental, social and economic outcomes.

The project will widen the geographic reach of the Envirocon system allowing for more waste to be upcycled.

Another key aim of the project is to raise awareness of the Scheme. We actively seek to educate key stakeholders on the issues of this waste stream, and how their decisions can help divert waste.

About Waste Minimisation Fund

The WMF gives financial support to projects that promote and work towards waste minimisation. It boosts New Zealand's performance in waste minimisation by increasing resource efficiency, reuse, recovery and recycling, and decreases waste to landfill.
